Doctors with computer access to records order more X-rays??

In the article there talking about doctors who have easy computer access to results of X-rays, CT scans and MRIs are 40 to 70 percent more likely to order those kinds of tests than doctors without electronic access. Doctors with computerized access were more likely to order advanced imaging tests, such as PET scans, which experts said are most commonly used to detect cancer, heart problems, brain disorders and other central nervous system disorders. The doctors are ordering more tests then are really needed because they have the computer access to look up the tests for them even if they don't really need to be ordered.

Today in class..

I don't think it's right that your college professors or your boss at your work can look at your social network pages and postings. I kind of understand why they would do it, but i still don't think it's cool. Your life outside of school or work shouldn't effect whether u keep your job or make it through school. Plus u don't know if the people looking through all your stuff isn't doing it to creep or get your personal information.
